YAMAHA AEROX ALPHA LAUNCHED GLOBALLY

What's New?

The All-New Yamaha Aerox Alpha has updated front styling, including a dual projector setup with integrated turn indicators.
The read comes with a redesigned LED taillight and LED indicators.

The Aerox now comes with 4 different variants and 7 unique colours to choose from.

It has a brand new TFT Display, traction control, two riding modes, three shift modes, and an Emergency Stop Signal (ESS) that works like hazard lights during hard braking.
The new display comprises Bluetooth connectivity, turn-by-turn navigation, and three different display colour schemes.

On the Safety front, it includes dual disc brakes, ABS, traction control
The front suspension remains the same which is a telescopic unit and the rear comes with twin dampers with coil springs which can be adjusted for preload.

It's interesting to see if the update improves ride quality as the Indian spec Aerox suffers from terrible ride quality and if it could eliminate its Achilles heel.

Engine specifications:-
It continues to be powered by the same 155cc motor that produces 15.4hp at 8,000rpm and a slightly higher 14.2Nm at 8,000rpm. Yamaha has equipped the updated Aerox with an Electric CVT (YECVT) transmission. It allows the rider an option to switch between the two riding modes and three acceleration modes which can be controlled by the Y-Shift button.
It comes with the same 5.5L fuel tank and weighs in at 125-130Kgs depending upon the variant.

While the updated Aerox is only available in Indonesia, it is likely to be launched in India in the second half of 2025. What do you think of the All-New Aerox? Let us know in the comments below!
