It is powered by a new 1099cc, liquid-cooled, inline-four-cylinder engine, paired with a 6-speed transmission and an upgraded bidirectional quick-shifter with an operational ceiling starting at 1,500 RPM and above. This enables the use of the quick-shifter at lower speeds and on city roads.

The overall design of the body and chassis is the same as the previous generation, barring a few additions and modifications that have been made.
