Updated Honda Dio Launched At Rs 74,930
Honda has updated the Dio and has been making all the vehicles in its lineup OBD2B-compliant.
The Honda Dio is already popular among the youth and this update will only increase its appeal.
The Dio continues to be one of the best-selling and one of the oldest names in the 2-wheeler market.
ENGINE AND PERFORMANCE:-
Powering the Dio is the same 109.51cc, single-cylinder PGM-FI engine that churns out 7.8 Bhp and 9 NM. It is also equipped with an Idle Start-Stop System which improves fuel-efficiency.
VARIANTS AND COLOURS:-
The Dio is available in two variants—STD and DLX. Honda has discontinued the H-Smart variant which was the Top-Spec variant in the previous Dio.
The 2025 Honda Dio is now available in five shades : Metallic Red, Pearl Black, Pearl Black with Deep Gray, Mat Marvel Blue, and Mat Gray Metallic.
FEATURES:-
The features list includes a 4.2-inch full TFT colour display which provides vital information such as the mileage indicator, trip meters, an eco indicator, and distance to empty.
The Dio also gets a USB type-C charging port to power your devices on the move.
TYRES AND BRAKES:-
The front tyre is a 90/90-12 inch tyre and the rear comes with a 90/100- 10 inch tyre.
The Dio is equipped with drum brakes at both ends.
DIMENSIONS AND DESIGN:-
The 110cc scooter weighs in at 103kgs and comes with a 5.3L fuel tank.
It stands at 160mm above the ground.
It continues with the same V-Shaped DRL and LED headlights.
The Dio comes with new graphics and retains the old design which still feels modern.
PRICING AND RIVALS:-
The STD variant now starts from Rs 74,930, and the DLX variant comes at Rs 85,648, which is an increase of Rs 1,718 for the former and Rs 7,985 for the latter.
It rivals the TVS Jupiter 110, Hero Xoom 110, and Honda Activa 6G.
