Honda CBR650R And CB650R Launched At Rs 9.99L And 9.2L

Honda has launched one of its Most Popular Bikes in India.

HONDA CBR650R:- Honda's Answer to the Middleweight Sportsbike
The Honda CBR650R looks menacing and is in line with Honda's Global models.
It is inspired by Honda’s racing heritage and features a dual-eye LED setup. It also features a proper fairing.

It is powered by the same 649cc, inline-four that makes 95hp and 63Nm of torque, the same as the European bikes.
Earlier, Honda had reduced the power output to 87hp.

The sides remain the same. whereas the tail section is a lot more raised and is sleeker than before. It still continues to feature the underbelly exhaust.

Interestingly, it doesn't get Honda's E-Clutch.


FEATURES:-
The feature list includes Honda Selectable Torque Control (HSTC), which improves traction and stability.

It packs in a new 5-inch TFT-Display integrated with the Honda RoadSync App.
The CBR650R features a premium Showa 41mm SFF-BP suspension, dual radial-mounted 310mm front disc brakes, and dual-channel ABS. The braking duties are powered by Nissin.


The CBR650R is available in Grand Prix Red and Matte Gunpowder Black Metallic.

HONDA CB650R:-
The Honda CB650R is identical to the outgoing model and follows Honda’s Neo Sports Cafe design philosophy, featuring a round all-LED headlamp, sculpted fuel tank, and a rugged frame. The Design is minimalistic and looks gorgeous.


Honda's Naked is powered by the same engine found in its faired twin and features similar updates such as a 5-inch TFT Display.

The CB650R features bronze finishing and gives the bike a retro yet modern feel.
The bike also features a similar under-belly exhaust.

The CB650R is available in two striking colors: Candy Chromosphere Red and Matte Gunpowder Black Metallic.

The bike gets a rear mono-shock with pre-load adjustability

This is one of the best 650's in the Indian market coupled with Honda's Bulletproof reliability.


A point to note is, that Honda is known for its low maintenance costs and will only add to the bike's appeal.

PRICE AND RIVALS:-
The CB650R costs Rs 9.20 lakh and rivals the Triumph Trident 660 (Rs 8.10 lakh) and the more powerful Kawasaki Z900 (Rs 9.38 lakh). It also competes with the Ducati Monster and KTM Duke 890 which are significantly more expensive.

Whilst its faired sibling (CBR650R) costs Rs 9.99 lakh with the Triumph Daytona 660 (Rs 9.72 lakh) and the Rs 9.25 lakh Suzuki GSX-8R. It will also compete with the Kawasaki ZX-6R which falls into the super sports category which is more powerful and expensive too.

Bookings for both models are now open at Honda BigWing dealerships and online via the official website.

Deliveries for both the Honda 650s will begin in February.
