2025 Hero Destini 125 Launched at Rs 80,450

The 125cc scooter segment is heating up with the recent launch of the All-New Activa 125 and now we have the All-New Destini 125.

The New Destini is offered in two trims: VX trim, which consists of a front drum brake, and ZX and ZX+ trims, which consist of a front disc brake.
The base variant is available in three colour schemes: Eternal White, Regal Black, and Groovy Red.


The higher-end ZX and ZX+ variants comes with additional paint options, including Mystique Magenta (Pink), Cosmic Blue, Eternal White, and Regal Black. The ZX and ZX+ also gets copper-toned chrome highlights on several parts of the scooter.

DESIGN:-
On the front, the Destini features a stylish LED headlamp and H-shaped DRL. The indicators are placed below near the front-apron.

There’s an illuminated start button along with turn indicators that cancel on their own (time-based). Hero has given this scooter a 190mm disc brake at the front, 12-inch front and rear wheels, wider rear tyre along with Hero’s i3S stop/start feature which improves fuel efficiency.

Hero has claimed a 59Kmpl which is one of the best-in-class. It gets a 5 litre fuel-tank with the fuel-filler cap being located behind the seat.

The scooter has also become larger with the longest seat in the segment at 785mm and the wheelbase being extended by 57mm, bringing it to 1302mm.
The seat itself comes with a dual-tone option in the top trims.

The underseat storage is at 19 litres which is lesser compared to its rivals.

In terms of features, it packs a projector LED headlamp unit, a Type- A charing port, a boot lamp and an analogue instrument cluster in the base variant.

The ZX variant comes with a front disc brake, a digital instrument cluster with Bluetooth connectivity.
It also includes turn-by-turn navigation, adjustable brightness, a back-rest and auto-cancelling indicators.

POWERTRAIN:-
The Destini is powered by the same 125cc air-cooled engine producing a mediocre 9 Bhp and 10.4 NM. It is mated to a CVT.

PRICING AND RIVALS:-
The All-New Hero Destini 125 starts at Rs 80,450 for the VX variant, rising to Rs 89,300 for the ZX variant, while the ZX+ is priced at Rs 90,300 (all prices, ex-showroom).

The 2024 Hero Destini competes with the Honda Activa 125, Suzuki Access 125, Yamaha Fascino 125 and the TVS Jupiter 125.
