The German publication also stated that despite the receding demand, the Austrian brand continued its high-volume production resulting in unsold stock.
The storage costs of the excessive inventory created a humongous liquidity requirement of over 461 million dollars.
The company's insolvency was due to bad decisions taken by the company management.
The unsold inventory equals to KTM's yearly sales which is just BONKERS!!
