24K Gold On A Scooter!! Ola Reveals S1 Pro Sona Edition

One of India's largest electric scooter makers has created attention around its S1 Pro range with the New Sona Edition.
It will be a limited edition model with real 24K gold elements.

Ola is also planning to launch its 4000th store by this month-end.

WILL OLA GAIN SOME POPULARITY OR CONTINUE RECEIVING BACKLASH:
In recent times, Ola has faced massive backlash regarding its reliability, service, etc.

The price is not announced as it is a giveaway and can be won through #OlaSonaContest.

With growing popularity in the EV space, Ola's sales are declining.
Bajaj recently launched the Chetak 35 series and Honda showcased its upcoming Activa e and QC1.

Ola meanwhile has revealed the Sona Edition.
Rivals are just few months away from passing Ola in terms of sales.

OLA SONA EDITION:-

As part of the contest, participants need to post an Instagram reel with the S1 Pro or click a picture standing outside an Ola Store and tag Ola Electric with #OlaSonaContest.

We are pretty confident that there would be a lot of positive responses in order to stand a chance to win A LIMITED EDITION PRODUCT.

The Sona edition features quite a lot of changes.
Its finished in a rather lovely Pearl White Shade with real 24K gold platting seen on the front mud-guard, side stand, rear grab rail, rear footpegs, brake levers and ORVM stalks.

There are even gold finishes on top of the headlight cowl, lower part of side body panels.

The alloys are also beautifully finished in Gold.
Floorboard gets gold coloured bolts
The seat cover is made of Lovely Nappa Leather with contrast Gold Stitching.

The rear swingarm and bottom part of the front telescopic forks get a Gold Shade too.
There's even a custom Move OS Interface which is a nice touch.

CHALLENGES:-
In a country like India, I just can't get over the fact that a 24K GOLD FINISH IS PRESENT ON A SCOOTER!!!
There is no idea about the durability and also the risk it brings when the scooter is idle as it would take just minutes to abscond with the Gold-Platted parts.

Ola has been struggling with multiple issues over the recent times and IT JUST DOESN'T MAKE SENSE. DOES IT?
