End of an Era: Europe to Ban New Petrol & Diesel Cars from 2035

The European Government has shocked the world by banning ICE vehicles since 2035 and will embark a new journey for its EV counterparts.
The consequences of this decision are considered to be very dire as it will affect not only the European market but the global market as well.

Carmakers protested the proposed acceleration of the European ban on the sale of new internal combustion engine (ICE) -powered cars to 2035, while green groups were ecstatic.
The European Automobile Manufacturers’ Association (ACEA) said the proposal announced by the European Parliament toughened already harsh rules to force the industry to go all-electric and would be impossible without massive spending on the charging network.
Reports have also mentioned that one of the largest economies such as Germany, is showing strong protest and has rejected this rule, and it would be interesting to see how it all pans out.

A point to note is, there have been technological advances in terms of alternative fuels as manufacturers are ever closer on making the 100% ethanol plan work as well as introducing alternative energies such as Hydrogen Fuel-Cell.
The current set of cars lets out very less emissions thanks to the stricter rules and regulations, and manufacturers are working even harder to minimize emissions.
At present, only a handful of pilot-manufacturing efforts are producing e-fuels, but proponents say that there will be larger-scale production long before the EU’s 2035 requirement for the fuel that will allow ICE vehicles to continue for sale in Europe. It remains to be seen if other entities that have banned or are seeking to ban ICE vehicles — such as several European cities and the state of California — will consider exemptions for e-fueled ICE vehicles.

EV CHALLENGES:-
What the government doesn't understand is, EV's itself has its cons, as most of the economies have less charging infrastructure, and the recycling of battery packs has become a major concern.
The aim for a greener environment is a Win-Win for all of us, but banning petrol and diesel vehicles, not so much.
Things can still change in the near future as manufacturers are hesitant to make such a large step.

But, currently, the decision has been made, which is to BAN PETROL AND DIESEL VEHICLES BY 2035.
