Since their launch in 2016, the Tata Tiago and Tigor have built a strong following in the Indian market, playing a pivotal role in Tata Motors' success. These cars received a significant update in 2020, and now, in 2025, they have been refreshed again with new features and enhancements.
Tata Tiago - ICE and EV Updates

The Tata Tiago now starts at a competitive price of ₹5 lakhs (ex-showroom), with the top-end variant priced at ₹8.20 lakhs (ex-showroom).
Exterior Updates:
While there are no major changes to the design, the Tiago now features updated LED headlamps, enhancing its road presence.
Interior Updates:
Inside, the Tiago boasts a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system, which supports wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. The cabin also features a stylish twin-spoke steering wheel with the Tata logo illuminated at its center. Dual-tone seat upholstery and a grey-beige dashboard complete the refreshed look. Additionally, all models now come equipped with Electronic Stability Control (ESC) for enhanced safety.
Engine and Performance:
The Tiago continues to be powered by the tried-and-tested 1.2L 3-cylinder Revotron petrol engine, available with both manual and AMT gearbox options, along with a CNG variant for eco-conscious buyers.

The Tiago EV gets notable updates to align with its electric identity.
Exterior Updates:
The EV variant features a redesigned front grille, 14-inch aero wheels, and two new vibrant color options: Lime and Blue. Additionally, EV badging on the front doors enhances its distinctiveness.
Interior and Features:
The top variant of the Tiago EV now includes a 6-way adjustable driver’s seat.
Battery and Performance:
The Tiago EV retains its two battery options:
- 19.2 kWh battery
- 24 kWh battery,
Tata Tigor - Updates

The Tata Tigor now starts at ₹6 lakhs (ex-showroom), with the new XM trim replacing the earlier XE trim. Additionally, Tata has introduced a new top-end trim, the XZ+ Lux, priced at ₹8.50 lakhs (ex-showroom).
Exterior Updates:
Like the Tiago, the Tigor also features new LED headlamps, enhancing its road presence.
Interior and Features:
The higher variants now include a 10.25-inch touchscreen display with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. Additional features include:

- Rain-sensing wipers
