The wait is over! Hyundai Creta EV Launch date announced for India!

Hyundai is set to make an exciting announcement by unveiling the electric version of the Creta at the Bharat Mobility Expo on January 17, 2025, in India. This launch presents a great opportunity for Hyundai to enter the competitive electric vehicle market, where the Creta EV will compete with notable rivals such as the Tata Curvv EV, MG ZS EV, and the anticipated Maruti Suzuki e-Vitara and Toyota Urban Cruiser EV.

Hyundai recently released a teaser to showcase its upcoming All Electric Creta. This Electrifying SUV will be offered in battery pack options, 51.4kWh and 42kWh capacity, the claimed Range for both these battery units is 473km and 390km respectively. The Hyundai Creta Electric can be charged from 10% to 80% in just 58 minutes using a DC fast charger, while a full charge from 10% to 100% can be achieved in approximately four hours with an 11kW wall-mounted home charger. Upon its launch, the Creta Electric will compete with established models like the MG ZS EV, Tata Curvv EV, and upcoming contenders such as the Maruti e-Vitara, Mahindra BE 6, and the Honda Elevate-based EV.

The new Creta Electric boasts a striking design overhaul, featuring a sleek blanked-out grille with an integrated charging port, redesigned front and rear bumpers with refined skid plates, and stylish blacked-out ORVMs. It rides on newly designed 17-inch alloy wheels with aero inserts and incorporates advanced active air flaps for improved aerodynamics. Adding to its futuristic appeal are LED light bars at both the front and rear, an ‘Electric’ badge on the tailgate, and the practicality of a front trunk (frunk).
