Automobili Lamborghini's latest brainchild, the Temrario, which will succeed the beloved Huracán, will be launched in India on the 30th of this month (April).

The Temerario debuted globally in August last year.

Powertrain:

The V8's power figures speak for themselves with the engine producing 789 bhp in the range of 9000-9750 rpm and a peak torque output of 730Nm in the range of 4000-7000 rpm.

The engine has a redline at 10,000 rpm with a combined output of 907 bhp and 800 Nm.

An 8-speed dual-clutch automatic gearbox unit complements the engine.

The two electric motors are mounted on the front axle, powering each wheel to produce an output of 220 kW (295 bhp) and 2,150 Nm of peak torque.

The third electric motor is integrated into the 8-speed dual-clutch transmission and powers the rear wheels. The combined output stands at 907 bhp.

The Temerario is capable of achieving 0-100 kmph in a whopping 2.7 seconds and has a top speed of 343 kmph.

The three electric motors are powered by a 3.8 kWh battery that can be fully charged in 30 minutes using a 7 kW AC charger.

Lamborghini also integrated the regenerative braking technology, achieving better efficiency and also charging the battery.

Exterior Design:

The Temerario takes a bolder and sharper diversion in the design language compared to its predecessor.

It owes the sharper look to the shark nose and the lower lip spoiler and the hexagon-shaped LED DRLs complete the look.

This new design theme is carried to the rear tail lights and a centrally-mounted rear exhaust enhances the design along with the ORVMs and the fuel tank lid,

It runs on 20-inch front and 21-inch rear wheels with a plethora of options to choose from including carbon-fibre wheels.

An aluminium spaceframe chassis makes it a safe and solid platform by offering a 20 per cent increase in torsional rigidity compared to the Huracán's chassis.

A track-focused package named: the Alleggerita offers carbon-fibre panels which help in a 25kg weight reduction from the dry weight of 1715kg.

The braking is taken care of by 410 mm discs at the front with 10-piston callipers and 390 mm discs at the rear with four-piston callipers.

Interior and Technology:

The Interior look is enhanced by a 12.3-inch digital instrument control and a vertically stacked 8.4-inch touchscreen infotainment system.

There’s a third 9.1-inch screen for the passenger mounted on the dashboard.

The seats are electrically adjustable and offer heating and ventilation.

The Temerario offers 13 driving modes - Citta, Strada, Sport, and Corsa with plug-in hybrid-specific modes: Recharge, Hybrid, and Performance.

It also gets a dedicated drift mode with three levels of control.

Expected Price and Future Prospects:

The Temerario is expected to be priced at around Rs. 6 Crore (Ex-Showroom), it will be competing with Lamborghini's Italian rival: Ferrari's 296 GTB, once it is launched in India.

This Italian Supercar offers a promising option to prospective buyers in the Indian Supercar market with its powerful V8 turbo-hybrid technology and also Lamborghini's charm among Automotive enthusiasts will turn many heads whenever the Temerario is spotted on the roads.
