No More Registration Tax on BMW's flagship model? Read here

In a first-of-its-kind move for the Indian market, BMW has announced that it will cover the cost of registration for its all-electric luxury sedan, the BMW i7. This limited-period offer is valid across all BMW dealerships in India, effectively standardizing the i7’s ex-showroom price at ₹2.05 crore, irrespective of the state of registration.

With a WLTP-certified range of up to 603 km, the BMW i7 is one of the most advanced luxury EVs available in the country. The move is part of BMW India’s continued focus on customer-centric policies and to promote the adoption of sustainable mobility.
“The introduction of a uniform price for the customers of BMW i7 will ensure price parity regardless of which location they want to register their vehicle in,” said Vikram Pawah, President and CEO, BMW Group India. “With this innovative offer, our focus is on customer centricity and encouraging the adoption of electric mobility with added benefits.”
BMW India will bear the registration charges and GST, easing a significant part of the on-road cost. However, buyers will still be required to pay TCS, local cess, and insurance separately.
The BMW i7 continues to push the envelope for electric luxury in India—offering futuristic technology, unmatched refinement, and now, an even more accessible ownership proposition.
With this BMW marches forward commanding it the Luxury Electric car market!
