Benelli Reveals The All New Leoncino Bobber 400

Benelli is not known to sell large numbers but have quite a lot of models in the global markets and QJ Motor have launched their subsidiary brands such as Keeway, Moto Morini, etc.

BENELLI LEONCINO:-
Benelli is following Harley Davidson and is offering a V-Twin engine and a Belt-drive system in the Leoncino 500.

The leoncino is a bobber and will sit below its bigger cousin- The lenocino 500.

Powering the Leoncino 400 is a new 60-degree V-Twin Engine that produced 25 BHP and peak torque is produced at 4500 rpm.
This beautiful engine is mated to a 6-speed gearbox.
Interestingly, Belt-Drives are usually harder to maintain, so surprising to see it in a 400cc Benelli.

It weighs in at 180 Kgs which is considerably low and has a relatively low seat height at just 730mm.

DESIGN:-
The Benelli Leoncino Bobber 400 is a handsome looking machine and ironically it looks a lot similar to the Harley Davidson Sportster S.
There are a lot of black elements with a contrasting theme which looks brilliant with the cool design.

On the front, Benelli has given the motorcycle with a horizontally shaped LED headlights and the top half acts as a DRL and the front fender gets the Leoncino logo and there are 2 types of Bar-End mirrors.


On the sides, it gets a glass-black Alloys with dual-barrel exhaust.
There's even a chunky fuel tank and the capacity is not known.
The Benelli features a USD-fork at the front and twin shocks at the rear and is fitted with chunky rubber.

Braking duties are handled by a single-disc at both ends and comes with Dual-Channel ABS.
Instrumentation comes in the form of a TFT screen.


PRICING AND RIVALS:-
The Benelli Leoncino Bobber 400 has only been revealed and an Indian launch is not yet confirmed.
But if it makes it to the Indian market, is expected to be priced at around 5 Lakhs ( ex-showroom ).

It might rival the Kawasaki Vulcan S and the Royal Enfield Shotgun 650 which are priced higher and lower respectively.
