2025 Toyota Fortuner Hybrid Launched!!!

Toyota has launched its most anticipated model, equipped with Mild-Hybrid Technology, and updated its feature list accordingly.

Badged as Neo Drive by Toyota India, the same nomenclature is used for the Hyrider and Glanza.

WHAT IS NEO DRIVE?
The car is powered by the same 2.8L diesel engine that produces 204 hp and 500 Nm, but now features a 48V hybrid system that includes a belt-integrated starter generator and a lithium-ion battery. The system enables auto start-stop that enhances fuel efficiency, and is also said to deliver smoother low-end acceleration, along with a quieter drive.

The electric battery can't be recharged manually and can only be charged through recuperation

The engine is coupled with a 6-speed torque converter.

OTHER UPDATES:-
While there are no exterior changes-other than a Neo Drive badge which signifies the mild-hybrid tech, Toyota has given it mild feature updates, such as a 360-degree camera in the mild-hybrid variants.

The Japanese Car maker has still missed adding some crucial features such as a panoramic sunroof, Level-2 ADAS, etc.

PRICING:-
The prices for the Toyota Fortuner Neo Drive start from Rs 44.72 lakh (Ex-sh) for the Diesel 4x4 AT, and the Fortuner Legender Neo Drive costs Rs 50.09 lakh (Ex-sh).

Bookings for Fortuner Neo Drive 48V Mild Hybrid and Fortuner Legender Neo Drive 48V Mild Hybrid have commenced, and deliveries are slated to start from the third week of June 2025.
