2025 Range Rover Sport launched in India at Rs. 1.45 Crore; Now made in India
KEY CHANGES:
- The Dynamic SE variant is discontinued and is replaced with the Dynamic HSE as the base variant.
- 4.4 litre V8 and 3.0 litre PHEV variants will remain as CBU imports.
- 3.0L turbo-petrol engine giving out 394bhp and 3.0L diesel engine giving out 346bhp are the engine choices offered in the Dynamic HSE variant.

The locally manufactured 2025 Range Rover Sport SUV comes at a price starting from Rs. 1.45 Crore (ex-showroom), making it Rs. 25 Lakh cheaper than its CBU model but, Rs. 5 lakh more expensive than its previous version. This is due to the discontinuation of the base variant- Dynamic SE and the introduction of Dynamic HSE as the base variant.
The British luxury car manufacturer continues with the localized production of its flagship SUVs in India after the Range Rover LWB and the 2024 Range Rover Sport.
The 2025 Range Rover Sport Dynamic HSE is offered in two powertrain options -
- The P400, which is a 3.0-litre, six-cylinder turbo-petrol engine with a power output of 394bhp (400hp) and a peak torque of 550Nm.
- The D350, which is a 3.0-litre, six-cylinder Diesel engine with a power output of 346bhp (351hp) and a peak torque of 700Nm.
Both the powertrains are paired with an 8-speed gearbox with 4X4 capabilities.
What's NEW in the Dynamic HSE Variant?
Well, the Dynamic HSE variant is loaded with a whole bunch of luxury features such as semi-aniline leather used on the seats which are powered, heated and ventilated.
The addition of a head-up display, auto-park assist, signature DRLs, air suspension, powered and heated rear seats and Meridian sound system complete the features on the Dynamic HSE variant.
Some of the more premium features such as front massage seats, front and rear winged headrests, illuminated seat belt buckles, and illuminated Aluminium tread plates with Range Rover lettering which were exclusive to the Autobiography have been added to this luxury SUV.
What are the options available in the 2025 Range Rover Sport line-up in India?
Tata-owned Jaguar Land Rover(JLR) will have five variants on offer in India.
The models which are manufactured in India are:
- The P400 Dynamic HSE.
- The P350 Dynamic HSE.
Both of which are priced at Rs. 1.45 Crore (ex-showroom).
CBU import versions include:
- The P460e PHEV Autobiography
- The P530 (4.4L V8) Autobiography
- The P530 SV2
The prices of these variants are Rs. 2.11 Crore, Rs.2.12 Crore and Rs. 2.95 Crore respectively.
