2025 Kawasaki KLX230 Launched At 3.3 Lakhs

Kawasaki has been the best premium 2-wheeler company in India and has launched various types of motorcycles and have gained a lot of success as well.

KAWASAKI KLX 230:-
The Indian market is evolving and the customers are willing to spend more and more money towards the product provided it suits the buyer.

Many automotive brands have launched ADV's and off-road focussed bikes including the local manufacturers such as Hero, Royal Enfield( The Famous Himalayan ).

SPECS:-
Powering this dual-sport bike is a simple 233cc, 2V, air-cooled engine with around 18.1 BHP and 18.3 Nm of peak torque, mated to a 6-speed gearbox and complying with BS6 P2 emission standards.

This will be Kawasaki's third localised product in India.


The KLX 230 gets wire-spoked wheels with 21-inches at the front and 18-inches at the rear.
Suspension duties are handled by a conventional 37mm RSU telescopic front forks with 240 mm of suspension travel and a rear mono-shock that has 250 mm of suspension travel. Both ends are non-adjustable.

The bike runs on dual-purpose tyres.
Braking duties are taken care by a single petal rotors at both end with dual-channel ABS as standard.

The exhaust is an up-swept unit with a heat shield finished in silver and body-coloured elements.

The USP would be its weight which tips the scales at 139 kgs which is considerably lower than the likes of Xpulse 200 4V Pro that weighs 161 kg.

The seat height is at 880 mm and is good to know that Kawasaki also provides a lower seat option.

Design wise, at the front it gets a small headlight and a large front beak and a typical off-road focussed chassis.
You get a slim seat and coventional ORVM stalks and indicators.
Kawasaki is offering a fully -digital instrumentation with bluetooth connectivity.

PRICING AND RIVALS:-
The Kawasaki KLX230 is priced at 3.2 Lakhs ( ex-showrooom ).
The KLX is more expensive than the Himalayan 450, KTM Adventure 390.

Looking at the bike's features and specs, it rivals the Hero XPulse 200 4V and XPulse 200 4V Pro which are almost half the price of the KLX.
