Audi India Introduces ‘Drive Sure’ to Champion Responsible Driving

In a significant move that aligns with India’s growing focus on road safety, Audi India has officially unveiled its newest initiative — Audi Drive Sure, a structured driving program tailored to instill responsible and skilled driving habits among performance car owners and professional chauffeurs.
With a clear focus on bridging the gap between rapidly evolving vehicle technologies and driver readiness, the program emphasizes technical expertise, safety awareness, and accountability behind the wheel. As modern luxury cars grow increasingly powerful and tech-driven, Audi India’s new program comes as a timely response to the rising need for well-rounded driver education.
“Audi Drive Sure” isn’t just another driving workshop. It’s a strategic, dual-path curriculum designed for two key audiences: young drivers and chauffeurs. The aim is to empower both to navigate various terrains and real-world driving situations confidently and responsibly.
Speaking about the program, Mr. Balbir Singh Dhillon, Head of Audi India, stated,
“At Audi, ‘Vorsprung durch Technik’ is more than just an engineering principle; it’s a commitment to societal progress. Audi Drive Sure embodies this ethos by addressing a critical gap in India’s mobility landscape: the intersection of performance-oriented technology and human readiness. We intend to create a generation of drivers who respect power as much as they master it. By training young adults to navigate various terrains and driving situations, this program aims to elevate all Audi owners and chauffeurs to become brand ambassadors of safety-first driving behaviours.”
With over 100,000 vehicles delivered in the country since the brand’s debut, Audi has cultivated a loyal customer base. Notably, every fourth Audi sold in India today goes to an existing customer. The Drive Sure initiative is seen as a way to give back to that loyal community while promoting safer roads.
The workshop-based program will be complimentary for Audi owners and includes hands-on training to prepare participants for the responsibilities of driving high-performance vehicles. On the other hand, chauffeurs will undergo a more specialized course. In addition to driving techniques and safety training, they will be educated on elite grooming standards and Audi’s technological offerings — a reflection of the brand’s emphasis on premium experiences and professionalism.
Audi Drive Sure not only highlights Audi’s dedication to innovation but also signals its investment in people — the ones behind the wheel. As India continues to modernize its mobility ecosystem, initiatives like these mark a crucial step toward a safer and more responsible driving culture.
