Akasa Air Cancels Flights to Doha, Kuwait & Abu Dhabi Amid Middle East Airspace Closures

Akasa Air has announced the cancellation of all flights to and from Doha, Kuwait, and Abu Dhabi on June 23 and 24, 2025, citing ongoing airspace closures across parts of the Middle East. The move comes as several regional aviation authorities, including Qatar, shut down air corridors due to escalating tensions between Iran and Israel.

In an official statement, Akasa Air said, “We are closely monitoring the evolving situation in the Middle East region and will continue to assess and adapt our flight operations as needed, in full compliance with international aviation advisories and safety protocols.”

The cancellations are part of a broader wave of disruptions impacting air travel in and out of the Gulf, with multiple carriers grounding flights or rerouting aircraft to avoid potential conflict zones. While no specific threats have been directed at Indian carriers, Akasa Air has emphasized that passenger safety remains the airline’s highest priority.

Affected passengers have been advised to check Akasa Air’s official channels for rescheduling options, travel advisories, and refund procedures.
