2025 Triumph Scrambler 400 XC spotted testing in India

The Triumph Scrambler 400 XC has been spotted testing without camouflage ahead of its launch in India. The 400 XC is likely to be an all-new variant positioned above the standard model.

The most noticeable change in the images is the introduction of new tubeless cross-spoke wheels for enhanced off-road credibility, although the wheel sizes are expected to remain unchanged at 19 inches at the front and 17 inches at the rear.

In addition to the wheels, the 400 XC will also feature new colours, an off-road-spec metal bash plate, high-set body-coloured fenders, and a small body-coloured bash plate that appears to be standard.

The Scrambler 400 XC will be powered by the same 398cc, liquid-cooled engine that produces 39.5 bhp and a peak torque of 37.5 Nm. The bike will offer a dedicated off-road mode along with switchable ABS and traction control. To further enhance riding convenience, a quick shifter is expected to be included, which we hope Triumph implements.

The Scrambler 400 XC is anticipated to cost between Rs. 10,000 and Rs. 15,000 more than the standard model, which currently retails at Rs. 2.66 lakhs (ex-showroom).
